How Can't I Forget Painting

Trauma is a poignant reminder of our lessons, the hard-won experiences that shape us and make us who we are. And yet, there's a catch. Forgetting what we once experienced is bliss. It's the ultimate escape from the curse of remembrance, a curse that drives us to the brink of madness, to the edge of our sanity. But life doesn't work that way, does it? Life is a harsh teacher, and it will not let us forget our lessons so easily. So what's the solution, then? We must take our lessons full on, embrace them with open arms. We mustn't shy away from the hard-won experiences that life throws our way, for they are there to teach us, to make us better, to make us stronger. We mustn't seek escape, for it is nothing but a momentary delay to what will inevitably come. I've learned that consequences are here for me to remember, and so I shall sit and accept my decisions. I'll embrace the scars that come with them, for they are a testament to the lessons I've learned. I know that a physical burn will heal, but a burn in our minds will leave a forever scar." They are our companions, our guides, and our reminders that we are constantly evolving beings.
