Lesser black-backed gull (Larus fuscus intermedius), Atlantic Europe. "Can I call this a seascape?" I guess I can. "Can a painting have a speech bubble?" I guess it can. "Is it legal to juxtaposition a bright warm red and a shocking pink?" Probably not! Alkyd oils on canvas, with acrylic underpainting and additional use of graphite pencil and marker pen.
