Icy Tundra Painting

An ominous scene of an icy tundra over the ocean's surface. We can imagine the long nights, the freezing temperatures, and the beauty of solitude. As the light hits this work a crystalline shimmer reflects off the frozen snow adding even more depth and interest. Artwork is painted around the sides, adding a multidimensional feel. I especially like this work for it's ability to capture the imagination. We can see the ice peaking through where the harsh winds have blown the snow away revealing the teal glow of the ice and the dark ominous depths within. The work is unframed, on canvas wrapped around and fasten on the back where it is signed and titled. It is lightweight and ready to hand for your enjoyment in almost any space. If I were to frame this I would do it with a black, 1/4" or less gallery style frame as to not cover the sides or take away from the work.
