Indian Sherifff Painting

This high quality oil painting is done on gallery wrapped canvas, with no need for framing, as the edges are painted. I sign my paintings on the back, but I can sign them also on the front, at request. This painting includes a Certificate of Authenticity. To each and every painting of mine I always attach a story. With each story I try to show and explain the feelings and thoughts that hide behind the paint that is now dry. Indian Sherifff "Si las plumas hablaran, contarían con más detalle la historia del Indio Sheriff que por blanco era Sheriff y por dentro era Indio. Lo blanco lo tenía de nacimiento y la insigne estrella se la heredó al abuelo que se la ganó por matar en una sola noche a 894 indios... pero el pobre Sherifff, que creció junto a los mismos indios—tan odiados por su familia— adquirió otra visión sobre ellos, hasta el punto de llegar a sentirse parte de la tribu. Tan Indio era por dentro que hasta la corona de plumas, que no se quitaba ni para dormir, se la habían tejido los mismísimos pájaros como agradecimiento por prohibir su caza en todo el condado. Pero el choque entre la estrella y las plumas no tardó en mostrar sus efectos y de pronto un día el Indio Sherifff fue sorprendido por ambos bandos. Los blancos le cortaron las manos para que no pudiera proteger a los indios y los indios le cortaron la boca para que no pudiera defender a los blancos. Gracias y gracias a ambos!
