The Catrina is an important character in mexico's society, the snob, the rich, mostly painted by Diego Rivera and Posada. This is my version of my catrina, on the background a pyramid, and she is half dressed as a Tehuana and half a virgin, with a flower cempasĂșchil of death. Two Papantla dancers holding its ribs. Shes holding an alebrije and a sacred jaguar head, shes dressed with a tehuana skirt decorated in a silver color imitaiting embroidery, with a background of green agaves.
