About The Artwork
One of a series of acrylic abstracts on 140 lb watercolor paper. It is then mounted to a cradled wood panel and sealed with satin varnish. "Interestingness" is a word I read and adopted from Maria Popova - somehow it was elevated beyond its everyday meaning. There are several layers of paint, each leading to the next, as the painting unfolded on its own. I am absolutely in love with that blue and haven't quite been able to replicate it since.
