my take on the "apocryphal" story of Judith which is a popular subject throughout art history with specific inspiration drawn from Gustav's Klimt "the kiss". having seen and heard the kiss interpreted as a representation of the story of Othello which arguably propagates certain harmful stereotypes and with that in mind I've switched both the positioning and race of the male and female subjects.
