During the opening of "A visual Jazz Affair" exhibition in Naples, Florida (2016).
This painting is part of my Visual Jazz Series, paintings that are purely inspired by music. Synaesthesia helps in the process, but a sensibility to musical improvs, cadences and rythms has been built over the years and that gets translated visually into my work as well. This painting was finished in April 2016. It has already been exhibited in following individual exhibition: "A Jazz Affair" (Naples Arts Association in conjuntion with the Naples World Festival 2016, Naples, Florida, USA). This particular work was inspired by, and is dedicated to Chet Baker´s song of the same title. As always it is a mix of acrylic, oil based paints (solid and sprays), and printing inks.
