My favourite place of all to paint. Low force, in county Durham, north of England, close to home. The smaller of 2 waterfalls on the river Tees, but by far the more magical one. Cascading amber water tumbling amongst rocks covered in ancient trees. My works are mainly created with oil on canvas, using palette knives to give more vibrant movements and colours. Capturing magical moments in nature, changes in seasons, mighty landscapes and freezing them in paint to enjoy for ever, is the goal. Some of my northern England landscapes have now travelled the country, to France and as far as Australia to call it home.
