About The Artwork

One of a series of six paintings that formed a solo show in June 2017 in Limoges, France at the 'Chapelle de la Visitation'. Inspired by the Romantic period, this painting in particular was inspired by the painting of Eugene Delacroix, Liberty Leading the People, my version attempts to pose questions on today's society and its responses to the world and others around them. Below is an excerpt from the catalogue about the painting.
