Listen Painting

I really like experimenting with art and using different mediums and styles. I don't want to be confined to one way of painting as my ideas change and I like trying new ways of thinking and creating. This painting is definitely more abstract than most of my work, but I really loved how it turned out. I was so happy with the experience and the end result of this painting. This painting represents my love for animals and how I feel that we can be their true guardians. I have done several other paintings about this subject and feel very drawn to work on this idea. Animals communicate in such a different way than we do. They talk with their eyes and their spirits and I really love that. They hope and really almost expect us to do the same because they know that we can. I feel that this painting expresses a feeling that perhaps many people have.....that of the childlike, naive personalities that animals have. People's hearts are always touched by children, nature and animals and those are the subjects that I enjoy painting about the most because I care about those things. I really loved how this painting became a very childlike expression of my own feelings and every time I see this painting, I smile. Ready to display, unframed (but could be framed) and in wonderful condition.
