They went to see the exhibitions, the art. Later they sat in Member’s Room and talked for hours, discussed what they felt surrounded by culture, looking at Thames flowing by, at St. Paul’s and all what’s on the other bank. As the time passed, they went through each gallery piece, left no theme nor style without a mention. Art was all they had and all they felt. Did the sun above just pierce a shadow, or was there spark in his eye? Did the chair jerk or she just stole a quick look of his silhouette?
