Christopher Minot has a MFA in Sculpture from the School of the Art institute of Chicago (1993), Full Merit Scholarship. Although his background is in sculpture, his work has recently focused more on paintings comprised of oil and resin on wooden panels. The mystical land and seascapes depict the landscapes that surround him; emanating the ethereal beauty of the environment that resounds so deeply within him. His work has been exhibited in Chicago, New York, Boston, and New England as well as in the Triennale di Milano (1992). He lives and works in Massachusetts and Maine.
