LOW TIDE on VALDEROYA Painting

In October, the days in Norway are getting shorter and you can see the sun less and less. And summer travels come to mind more and more often. I remembered how the beauty of the landscape struck me when I was on the small island of Valderoie. I hope that you will share with me the delight of my memories. A long, bright, sunny day in the Norwegian summer is drawing to a close. The mountains and colorful coastal buildings still shine joyfully in the rays o the setting sun. But the evening shadow had already fallen on the exposed stones and algae. It seems that they are impatiently waiting for the cool sea wave to hide them from prying eyes again. But for now, the air is filled with the thick aroma of the seabed and brown heaps of algae lying on the shore.
