Man like Sun Painting

I am self-trained artist from Estonia. Love for the art was instilled in me already in childhood. I spent a lot of time with my father who worked as cinema technician. At the free time he was amateur photographer. My art ABC-s were monthly issues of “Sovetskoje Foto” (Soviet Photo). It was a magazine for professional photographers and movie makers. After graduating high school, I worked three years in photo studio as a photographer. May mother helped me to understand the importance of Bible wisdom in daily life. And that`s why I dedicate my life to promoting Bible education. For 30 years, I was engaged in voluntary missionary activities in several countries. I continue to do voluntary work to this day. This unforgettable life period further cemented my view of how unique each individual is. I started painting spontaneously in 2014 to make gifts to friends. And for some reason soon there was long line of friends who were waiting for me to visit them with a picture as a gift :). That`s how painting became my favorite pastime. The idea to start selling my paintings came about by chance in 2015. Once I took my painting to the framing workshop to make another gift. Next day they called from workshop and said that they would like to buy my painting, and if that was not possible, to bring something else from my collection. It was a big surprise for me, but also a strong push of developing as an artist. I felt confident and free to experiment further. As time went by, I noticed that all my pictures depicted humans. This is actually logical since for me people are the most important. People and their life stories are inseparable, and this can be seen in my pictures. Either the character of a person or his story must be visible there. The name of the picture then gives way to viewers imagination…
