Best colour matching picture - most of composition is showing.
Shows glossy/shine (colours in this picture are wrong - brighter than actual).
Total composition (and slight dent, near top right corner can be seen.)
This is a little too light and green , but does show some paint texture/depth.
The main photo is a detail - view all photos to see the total composition.
The painting is high gloss shiny acrylic and I had difficulties getting pictures without some shine in them.

This is poured acrylic (high flow) paint, allowed to go wild.
To my surprise a face appeared in the pour.
I believe this is unforgeable (but I leave that as a challenge to someone with too much time!).
I augmented the face with eyes, nostrils and lips using acrylic paint.

The canvas is rough and has edges uncovered and drips on the side - you know, the real works get messy!
It has some dent/impressions in the canvas from my drying fixture. Not noticeable when viewing from normal viewing locations.
(need to look from the side using light.)
I am just trying to warn about this, so the buyer is not disappointed by it.
Have a close look at the alternate angles photos to see the “perfect imperfections”.

Signature and date is located on the back of the canvas.

Art to me, is just a subset of the rest of life. A balancing act between working hard and challenging yourself and having fun with the outcomes. Art usually reveals the inner workings of the artist. For me I have quite a wide range of interests and subject matter that I want to “cover”. I like experimenting with mediums, and even pushing the boundaries a bit. But I also like to go back to basics and compare myself to other classics, to gauge my abilities. I LOVE art, because of the mysterious way it moves us and evokes all sorts of emotions. I love trying to find that magical element that turns an abstract into something we like. Why do we like it? Why do we like those colours? Why do our tastes differ? Solving and manipulating these dilemma's is part of the fun. What makes a great painting of nature. I think the answer to these questions is elusive and changes with time. My tastes in art have refined since I have become an artist, and started to ask questions... My art represents my interests. So my subjects are the "usual ones", but maybe with a focus on nature, sports, and movement. This is evolving (with my push into abstracts), and I am not sure where it will lead, but that is the fun part…. I hope the viewers enjoy and maybe even support my efforts. Thank you for viewing.
