Lightning flash Sparks Heaving passion Spent Momentof creation Time inside, safe, warm, womb feeding greedily all goodness Sucking nutrients from humanity I AM the miracle of life I ask for everything I squeeze my way Like toothpaste white pure Oozing, bursting,forth Gasping my first breath What will you give My skin so soft as silk My flesh freshest fuzzy peach My large wide eyes Plead your attention I search your face I have to trust I have no choice Will you give all Or in your druggged stupor Will you punch me Kick me down-down Bruise my tender newness Beat the life from me Until I feel no pain Just lay in hospital crib Tubes from every orifice I wanted my chance To walk freely under blue skies Swim in fresh green salty oceans Achieve my dreams You took my chance from me Too late for love Too late for life I am gone Dissipated into dust I am no more Your tears are for yourself Someone-- please-- shed a tear for me.

Born Queen Charlotes Hospital London UK 1944.I am a fourth generation hairdresser and had always wanted to find time to paint and make art. So at age 58yrs went to study art and design.I find my inspiration to make work comes from everywhere and everything. Life is a wonderful journey and the creative proccess assists to solve problems that present themselves every day in a positive way. The blank page is always a challenge and once a mark has been made another will follow and so on and so on until I have satisfied myself that the art object is complete. I love to work with concept, colour words and texture, I use these methods to communicate with my audience. I enjoy the feedback gleaned from the viewer and it fascinates me how each individual will bring some new observation about the finished work.
