The widely unknown beautiful island located just outside the shores of Budva in Montenegro is called by the locals "Hawaii'. Its dominating presence in the landscape flooded with sunlight is the reason I've chosen a strong red to study its form, which transists from left to right from a detailed, atomized drawing structure to a vague overview suggesting the space and air in front of the viewer. What's more, I've suspended the elegant line of the island in a space devoid of color but which obviously surrounds it in a fluid way.

facebook.com/subskryba „Very sour painting, it rubs the palate and weirdly sates the eyes – I think it’s due to the peculiar colors.” ~ A.G. Such a comment which treats only about such a trivial themed depiction as a local cliff. How so? I simply think that painting amounts to a feast for the eyesight which in order to get satisfied needs colors and forms. D i s t i n c t ones. And proportional. Not mud’n’mess.
