"Movement Of Light" Created in 2018 Oil on canvas Size: 80x90 cm, 31"x35" inches Condition: excellent brand new There are days when everything is transparent like air when everything is in its place and you feel almost weightless. The gaze slides over objects but sees only light, glare, and distance. Lyrical doing nothing. On such days it is easy to write, of course. It happens, but rarely. The main idea of the picture is to convey a sense of lightness, serenity, simplicity. Transparent glazing and a lot of light work for this image. Open colors give a sense of clarity to the world. The bouquet is reflected, repeated, linen swaying in the wind, random strokes: all this gives movement. The distance is clear without details, as in youth when the world seemed clear. This work was inspired by the memories of my father's home. It happens that I want to go back there.

"Huge, expressive, imperious, juicy, all-embracing, fantasy, real ... Epithets characterizing the artist's work. Natalya Strizh is distinguished by a wide range of interests and a constant search for new forms of self-expression, which determines the variety of styles and directions in her works. Natalya Strizh is called a rebellious artist. A wide range of her interests and the constant search for new forms of self-expression, which determines the variety of styles and directions in her works. They offer the viewer lyrical symbolism, unrestrained expressionism, and subtle psychologism. What at first glance seems like chaos and haphazard - the system is; Strizh canvases are united by a special presentation - as if in close-up. A kind of deliberate cinematography, when the object (which Natalya always has a subject) is as close as possible not only to the viewer's eyes but also to his heart" (from newspapers). Apparently, I have something in my nature - to seek. I felt that expression, bright colors, decorativeness are mine, today I really want to express myself. I don’t know what will happen tomorrow. There were heaven and water, today it is dancing: Brazilian carnival and Russian disco. I prefer to work in large formats. My compositions are partly abstract, partly figurative, fanned by a romantic feeling. The form appears on the verge of these manners and leaves the viewer a lot of opportunities to admire their own associations.
