This series of works presents an artificial model of my memories. Rethinking family relationships has become for me a practice of self-discovery. The experience acquired in childhood is mythologized in the mind of an adult. The interior of a post-Soviet apartment becomes indistinguishable from the imaginary world of children's games. Real experiences are also indistinguishable from a mask that has to be put on according to the rules of the game. Everything that I knew about the reality was learned through TV: criminal incidents, ethnic conflicts, terrorist attacks and coup d'état in prime time. However, it was enough to go out of the house and the reality, broadcasted from TV channels, was becoming my everyday life.

Repin Academy of Arts in Saint Petersburg, Russia, with a specialization in Monumental Art, receiving the prestigious "Best Graduation Project 2021" medal from the Russian Academy of Arts (RAA). Her graduation project is now part of the permanent collection at a State Museum in Moscow. Her works are also held in private collections in the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, China, Italy, Kazakhstan, and Russia. Currently, the artist resides and works in Budapest, Hungary and plans to gain recognition through exhibitions and collaborations with European Artists. Milada's work explores universal themes, reflecting the societal and cultural challenges of contemporary life giving an apocalyptic aftertaste. Her figurative painting serves as a commentary on the loss of global mythologies and answers existential questions of the human experience. Her art is deeply personal yet resonates with a broader audience, particularly those who came of age in the post-Soviet era.
