Nørrekærenge Painting

I was invited to take part in the second Nørrekærbiennalen near Aggersund in North Jutland as a landscape painter. I had this large roll of canvas I wanted to use and knew we would be working ‘on location’ so I got this idea that I should work with nature, in a field, with the wind and the rain, over a period of 5 days. When the painting began to take form I brought it inside the open shed we lived in, out of the rain, and let it continue to work itself with the weather that was. Eventually it was hung up in the local village hall for the exhibition of the biennale.
