About The Artwork
"No Christmas for John Quays" from The Fall was playing and the thought of a Donkey came to mind. The Donkey, like I imagine most Donkeys, is unable to comprehend Christmas or holidays. Then I thought the Donkey probably feels like a kid on Christmas when it Hee Haws. The song itself is about a little known politician who's name was changed to play on the word Junky. This Painting has nothing to do with Junkies. It is more about how most of are not that different from Donkeys.
