Sometimes there is a small section of a model's pose that just capture's my attention. I am working on a larger oil painting of the most of the figure using multiple glazes, but this one area intrigued me, so I made a smaller watercolor of it. I actually like this better than my oil paint version (this far -- the oil ptg is still in progress)

Yes, I, as many of us did, began my career by drawing on the walls of my parent’s house. I did not get the critical acclaim I was hoping for, but persevered and have continued my education, training, as well as seeking more favorably responsive venues to share my work to this day. I work with a variety of mediums, but am perhaps most comfortable working in watercolor, and occasionally oils. I have also enjoyed exploring the use of encaustic. I live in Maine with my partner Tim.
