About The Artwork

"Palm in Landscape" is an enchanting abstract oil painting that invites viewers into a realm of vibrant colors and boundless imagination. At its center, a lone palm tree stands tall and proud, its slender silhouette commanding attention against an imaginary landscape. The backdrop is a captivating play of red-colored surfaces that dominate the canvas, creating a sense of intensity and warmth. Flowing across the canvas are scattered light blue spots of varying sizes, creating a dynamic contrast to the dominant red tones. These azure accents serve as ethereal highlights, adding a touch of coolness to the overall composition. Some of these light blue spots flow into the palm tree, intertwining with its form and suggesting a harmonious connection between the natural elements. The lower half of the painting introduces a myriad of shapes, each adorned with a unique spectrum of colors. This kaleidoscope of hues offers viewers a vast and open field for interpretation. The multitude of shapes and colors, when observed closely, unveils a diverse range of possibilities, allowing each viewer to find their own narrative and meaning within the artwork. The composition as a whole is a celebration of colors and the freedom of imagination. It beckons viewers to explore the canvas with an open mind, embracing the uniqueness of interpretation that the painting affords. "Palm in Landscape" is a visual symphony that encourages individual perspectives, making the experience of the artwork deeply personal and subjective. This painting is intended to evoke emotions, spark creativity, and leave a lasting impression on those who engage with its tapestry of form and color.

Shipping & Returns

Delivery Time:Typically 5-7 business days for domestic shipments, 10-14 business days for international shipments.

I am a Swiss artist from the region of Fribourg, Western Switzerland. The cubist representation of urban and industrial subjects in the artworks of the American painters Charles Sheeler, Charles Demuth and partially Edward Hopper, influenced me a lot at the time, making me approach this artistic style. Since then the city and nature, in all its forms, remains a great source of inspiration for me. Through my artworks, I exploit the figurative and graphic style close to abstraction but also realism. Oil paint is the essential material I use for my creations, in some cases I use other media and techniques such as acrylic, ink, charcoal, collage and screen printing.
