About The Artwork
Artist: Dmitry Shorin Dmitry Shorin was born in 1971 in Novosibirsk, now lives and works in Saint-Petersburg. He had been participating in the exhibitions since 1988 and had personal exhibitions in State Russian Museum in 2008, St.Petersburg; Moscow Museum of Modern Art in 2011; Erarta Museum in 2012 and 2014, St.Petersburg and Erarta Gallery in Zurich, London and New York in 2013. In 1993 he was admitted to the Association of Artists and in 1998 he joined the UNESCO International Federation of Artists. Dmitry Shorin was nominated for Kandinsky prize in 2009. His works were presented and sold in the auctions by Sotheby's, London in 2008, Phillips de Pury & Company, London in 2011 and Phillips de Pury & Company, New York in 2012. Public Collections in Moscow Museum of Modern Art, Moscow, Russia and The State Russian Museum, St. Petersburg, Russia.
