About The Artwork
The picture is unique in its kind, created by Nataliia Fomichova, and has a long history. The beginning of the creation of this picture was in 2021, and in 2022 a full-scale war began. The unfinished painting was transported under explosions in May 2022. Fortunately, the picture arrived whole and undamaged. For me, it was a sign that this painting should be finished... After everything I experienced, I already looked at the picture with completely different eyes. I wanted to believe in the best, I wanted to see something beautiful and calm, so I partially changed the composition... I believe that this picture will bring "PEACE" to my life and to the life of all of Ukraine. Painted with professional oil paints on canvas with a gallery stretch, which allows the picture to be hung without a frame. After complete drying, the picture was covered with professional varnish in 2023.

Nataliia Fomichova is a Ukrainian artist. Since childhood, she had a thirst for creativity, in particular, for painting. She graduated from the Academy of Arts and received an international diploma of Designer in 2019. (more information in the Education section) Nataliia is a versatile artist. During the academy, she painted gouache and watercolor paintings, then fell in love with oil painting. During her studies, Nataliia worked outside of her education (hairdresser), and in her spare time, painted paintings to order. In the spring of 2024, Natalia left Ukraine for the first time after the start of a full-scale war. Now she temporarily lives in Poland near the Baltic Sea. It was here that Nataliia found an art shop, and began her work with new energy. Now she creates acrylic paintings on canvases and miniatures on pebbles of the Baltic Sea, as well as pencil drawings... Nataliia in her work expresses her vision of the world through the eyes of an artist.
