About The Artwork
"Pops" is a fairly recent addition along the iconic Route 66 original highway from Chicago to L.A. ... and Oklahoma City looks mighty pretty... but this is just north of OKC in a little town called Arcadia. When I was a child, My family regularly dove by by another famous landmark just across the street and down "a ways" from there - the Round Barn. I will post a few pics of that on my pages as well. Hope you enjoy learning about our great Oklahoma landmarks and history!

My newest series will highlight Route 66 landmarks in advance of a 100-year celebration of the iconic highway that stretched 2448 miles from Chicago, Illinois to Los Angeles California. From the middle, I will start with my home state of Oklahoma and then see where this old road takes me on my newest journey.
