I have always wanted to paint the Route 66 landmarks that fall along the iconic & historic highway in the state of Oklahoma. Recently, my style completely changed due to life events that were traumatic. My painting has been helping me heal my brain. So, I'm excited to introduce a new series of landmark paintings. This is Pops #2. Pops is a modern landmark on an old highway. It was not there as part of the old highway the way it is now. But it is very cool and located in the town of Arcadia, Oklahoma, just east of Edmond by about 5 miles on Highway 66.

My newest series will highlight Route 66 landmarks in advance of a 100-year celebration of the iconic highway that stretched 2448 miles from Chicago, Illinois to Los Angeles California. From the middle, I will start with my home state of Oklahoma and then see where this old road takes me on my newest journey.
