Positive Tension 48" x 48" x 1.5" Painting

I'm a little obsessed with colors, which is weird for a guy that wears mostly black ;) The dynamic tension I've felt over the past few years needs expression. When my wife, Kristy, died from a long battle with cancer I was torn up by a jumble of emotions. Grief and loss. Anger and exhaustion. Relief that she wasn't in pain anymore. Followed by guilt that I felt relief. The tension series is an attempt to show the world how I'm feeling. The colors are positive but the conflicting diagonal lines feel a little jarring when I stare at them too long. Dimensions: Acrylic on gallery quality canvas. 48" x 48" x 1.5" This artwork ships with a floating frame in satin black finish. With the frame the dimensions are 49.5" (W) x 49.5" (H) X 2" (D).
