About The Artwork
This is a recycled work consisting of a four panel fireplace screen which I found discarded. I took it back to my studio and prepared wood backing for each panel. Once secured, I painted each panel with a different scene and then inserted it behind the mesh covering from the original screen. The frame was the original metal frame which was held together with wooden molding on the back. Once completed it is a stand alone screen. However it is not fireproof.
