About The Artwork

I've already asked people to analyze this painting I made, which I still call Mother Africa. But today it has a new meaning for me. Maybe my subconscious was playing a trick on me, that's what I thought. But today I see that it was more of a response to prayer and reflection. Prayer to do it, but I don't know how to pray, I only know if the Holy Spirit leads me, and reflection, during a tough spiritual battle. When I asked for it to be analyzed, things like colors were identified, which reflect the feeling of hunger (yellow, red). Also orange which indicates the color of a carrot. And baobabs, also related to carrots. And the bottle on the woman's head would refer to the need for the place. Arid climate without much food or water, or if you had it it would be scarce. This is desert climate. And the mother looking for supplies for her son. Well, I'll explain here how I analyze it; I always put the three baobabs as a Trinity, redundant, right? But that's right, they refer to the Christian trinity; Father, Son and Spirit. In this case, the woman alone would not be able to obtain her food, both spiritual (male priest of the home) and material (male breadwinner). At least not in full. It is likely that you lost your husband, or that you were a victim of rape cases, which are very common in this region, due to human trafficking and other crimes that are routine in needy places. So, without a husband, how do you earn a living? Only in God! Only in the Father! The woman and her son seem to be bigger than God, but it's a matter of perspective, they are distant. The sun seems to shine brighter than God. But we all know that it was created by God to enlighten men. Even the baobabs are just a representation of God, that is, they are also God's creation. They are all there to manifest the Glory of God. And the poor woman, with her son, seeks to leave the desert and find an oasis, a promised land, the Heaven. Created by Helder Foloni 2019
