The 'Pseudo random, or Korb Square' series is an attempt not only to express the author's own complex worldview, but also to invite the viewer to experiment with their own thoughts and perceptions via a game of associations prompted by the picture, consciously or not, depending on the time, mental state and communicative context at the moment of contact. 'Korb Square' pays tribute to several obvious sources, including the dialectics of a part and a whole, disassembly of the Malevich's Square and most notably, perhaps, Mondrian's picturesque geometry, but for a more involved viewer, numerous less straightforward quotations may become apparent. All of these Squares are alike, one may even consider them the same mathematical object, generated by pseudo-randomly splitting a greater square into a number of smaller ones according to a single expression. Each of these Squares is unique, as the probability of two of them being identical can be compared to the probability of contacting another sentient species the day after tomorrow. This brings up another tentative name for the series: 'Universum', which reflects on the equipotence of the Humanity with the Universe. The complexity of the concept does not prevent Korb Squares from being efficient in a more utilitarian sense. They can easily fit into an existing interior design and tie it together, they can be adopted into an artist's or a designer's toolkit, assisting in gauging compatibility and emotional impact of colors, and they can easily provide a graphical base for games, merch, etc.
