I was inspired to create this painting after seeing a photo of an old pub window in an article about Ireland. I found the simplicity of it's design, but the complexity of the colors interesting. I how people who view this piece see it as a fun design that will enhance the space they decide to hang it. It isn't signed on the front (on the edge) so it can be hanged horizontally or vertically. No framing is necessary.

After a 40-year career in the corporate world I retired in order to return to my earlier endeavors in the creative arts; including painting, drawing and writing. When I was in high school, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, I began creating art works. This continued through college. Once I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee I entered the business world and shortly thereafter began raising my family. As a result I completely stepped away from my creative side. Now, as planned, I work on something creative essentially every day.
