It is blazing hot outside. Mirages are hovering over the pavement, a baking heat is radiating off the canyon walls, and it feels everything man-made might melt, gently, into the sand. It may sound apocalyptic, some primal part of me welcomes the blaze and surrendering to its purifying bright, clean, heat.
