About The Artwork

This artwork belongs to a series called "Natural Flags", which are "pop" landscapes inspired by the work of landscapers, they can also be from trips that I have taken, or by photographs of places that I have seen in magazines, on the internet, reading, listening to music... This flag or landscape of more or less abstract shapes has a white background because it represents a sunrise. The artwork “RamaSita” shows us a landscape in which something is happening, it can be read from left to right: On the left we see a tree that, like a face, seems to be telling something to the sun, perhaps asking for some light. Below this face appears another bush whose silhouette is reminiscent of a boxing glove, although perhaps it represents not a blow but a remedy or a cure, facing a setback. This kind of boxing glove seems to punch a small black bush or shadow directly on the chin, perhaps a shadow of doubt or bad thoughts. Upon receiving the impact, some colored shapes seem to detach from this shadow, which are thrown towards the first of the two large face-trees, as if they were a support to not doubt and think in the right direction, perhaps to give encouragement. In front of this tree-face there is another one, very close, that seems to be whispering or even kissing the previous one. The title of this work is the result of the union of two gods of the Hindu religion: Rama and Sita or Sita and Rama. Also in the relationship that existed or exists between both Frame not needed, but recommended.
