Unframed On canvas sheet This is an acrylic painting of looking upwards at a tree in the autumn season. The style of this painting is impressionism. First I painted the background and I used acrylic paint and heavy acrylic medium to built up the leaf texture of the autumn tree. There is a bit of texture in the painting, initially created by splattering paint and then more details to leaf are added to make the composition come together. The branches of the tree will allow audience to guide their eyes across the painting allowing the viewer to feel that the autumn tree is "reaching out to you".
