Red enamel roses on a black acrylic background. I love repetition and negative space. I like the fact that the black rectangle is of equal importance to the roses. It has a beauty of its own - just not so obvious. All roses have been individually hand painted. Though they look the same, they are in fact all different.

I am a 44 year old mother of 2 children and have decided it is now my turn in life! My children are getting older so I find there is more time on my hands to explore this painting journey. So far I have discovered I love repetition, flowers and negative space. Originally from England, I emigrated with my husband and kids 8 years ago to Australia. My father always wanted me to do something with my talent, so 6 years ago when he died I used my small inheritance to build a studio. I am having so much fun exploring who I am on canvas!
