Root Cause Painting

I went through a period where I felt like I could not hold on emotionally to get through a certain life crisis. In deciding to flow with my experience, I used high flow acrylics in this painting. A spray bottle created the expansiveness of the subject and then added colour had the trees vividly pop! Message: A flood usually reaches its high-water mark for only a few brief moments before it begins to subside. You'll never know the true extent of your abilities until you dive into a crisis with complete abandon and dedicate every ounce of your energy and being to the cause at hand. I desire that people do their best to get through a crisis knowing that eventually it will subside to become a memory. Although when you’re in it, it almost feels like you may not make it to the other side.
