Hey there! I'm Miabo Enyadike, your friendly neighborhood International Fine Artist with 30 years of splash-tastic experience, living it up in Africa. I’m the maestro behind vibrant abstract paintings and a proud Artpreneur. My art is basically me on a canvas – colorful, energetic, and sometimes a bit wild! I care about our planet, so I use eco-friendly materials because, hey, we’ve got to look out for Mother Earth. Colors are my jam! They make me happy, and people say I’ve got a personality to match – bold, passionate, and brimming with confidence. That’s exactly how I roll when creating my art. I’m all about Abstract Art, with a soft spot for ink on recycled smooth paper boards. And yes, Picasso is my spirit animal. Press/Awards/Media? Oh, You Bet! I’ve been yakking about my art on TV, podcasts, and in print – you name it, I’ve probably done it. Snagged the Ford Foundation Award and Grant for contemporary art in 2006, thanks to Terakulture Nigeria. Honored with the Exceptional Service to Fellow Artist Award in 2017 by the prestigious College of Art and Design, Yaba Tech, Lagos Nigeria. Besides painting, I dabble in interior decorating and share my musings on art and crafts as an art blogger. I also run art workshops for artists and kiddos because spreading the love of art is what I do best. Fun fact: My painting "Chaos and Confusion" was a hit with students in Stafford County Schools and Chesterfield County Public Schools, West Virginia, who used it to create sonic sound music during the virtual learning period. Thanks to the cool cats at www.lightthemusic.com for that collab! And guess what? Two of my abstract art pieces, "Faces and Expressions of Women," are chilling in the Permanent Collection of the Musée de Peinture de Saint-Franjou in France. How cool is that? Recently, I’ve been the brains behind the Artmiabo International Art Festival in Lagos, Nigeria, lighting up the art world in 2022, 2023, and 2024 with artists from all corners of the globe. Catch you on the colorful side!
