I'm inspired by all kids of athletes as well as all things vintage. This drawing is the very first in a series of skiers and winter sport drawings of men and women in the snow, skiing or relaxing, while wearing stylish retro clothing from days gone by. When painting, I always want to convey either a quiet moment of solitude, away from the stress of every day life. Or I'll paint a moment of pure freedom: reminding the viewer to dive in or take a risk. To be strong and brave.
