About The Artwork

Are we going to redesign our lives and habitats into units, where our existence will be enclosed into an endless pattern of cells that together will emerge as the final and functional body of humanity? Sci-fi, utopian, projection of the skyline from the near future when AI is providing humanity with a way to survive the energy and climate issues. Weirdly this image brings me an emotional, but unreal memory from my childhood, as if I was sitting in the back seat in my father’s car approaching the airport, looking through the window seeing brutalist construction fencing the endless sky off from us. Nevertheless, this must be a false memory since this image was meant to be a projection of the skyline from the near future when technological singularity with AI is providing humanity with a solution to survive the energy and climate issues. What does the future hold for humanity? Did we all learn anything during this covid 19 crisis? How will climate change unfold? How will AI and the sciences of biomechanics and genetics be implemented? What does that mean for social development? Are we going to redesign our lives and habitats into units, where our existence will be enclosed into an endless pattern of cells that together will emerge the final and functional body of humanity? Questions like these that are of concern for many of us humans are the theme of the latest series of my paintings.

Amsterdam based painter I was born (1969) and raised in Skopje, Macedonia in an artistic family. There I graduated at the Faculty of Fine Arts- Skopje. I moved from Macedonia to the Netherlands in 1998 and since then I live and work in Holland with my girlfriend and our two sons. I work in my studio at NDSM in Amsterdam Noord, the creative and artistic hotspot in Amsterdam. I am always open and ready for new exhibiting opportunities and/or organizing art events for you and your company or clients. Artist Statement -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Multistable Perception I am a painter who oscillates between two poles. On one side there is the process of deep soul searching through intuitive, fluid, organic painting, and on the other is the exploring the aesthetic possibilities offered by repetition and precision. Patterns conceived of color, lines, and simple geometrical shapes encompass a haptic quality of the image. The link between the two is the pursue of a distinct visual experience of multistable perception. The carefully calibrated compositions of my works invite you to consider the planes of reality from which the works originate. The perception is best described as an experience that evokes a sense of otherworldliness. I intend for my paintings to be open to interpretation and to evolve and grow with time and different audiences. I work with acrylic, oil, charcoal, pens, pencils, tape, and my own hands. Social and Artistic Awareness The imagery of my paintings is abstract yet his inspiration is very much rooted in reality. Society and its flaws are impossible to ignore, especially for me as an artist who wants to provoke a profound emotional response from his viewer. My newer works explore the questions of the future of human society, science, and technology. I believe that technological singularity is inevitable and the only solution for the continuation of the human race. The endless geometric utopian architectural imagery refers to the future habitats where humans and technology are one. National Success I exhibited extensively in group and solo shows across the Netherlands and my works belong to numerous private collections around the world, notably in Holland, Italy, Spain, and the United States.
