Speaking one's truth... Aligning with one's true self... Painting

“Speaking one’s truth… Aligning with one’s true self… and finding the courage to express one’s voice… 5th chakra healing… ” I created this painting during the first confinement here in France. Confinement was not a really creative time for me and this is actually the only painting I created during that time… It was a time where I felt that staying quiet was not really an option… and that saying what I had to say, whether it was what people wanted to hear or not or whether it was going to be well received or not, was greatly needed. The colour I needed at that time was blue, the colour of the 5th chakra that represents communication, but also our connection to the divine, our spiritual connection. At that moment the fear of speaking up from the past was overridden as the threat from not speaking up felt much greater than the fear of speaking up. It was a hidden gift for me from this crisis as it helped me further align with my own truth, with who I truly am… This painting was created using extra-fine acrylic paint which has a high pigment content, providing very vibrant colours as well as optimal stability over time.
