Original artwork description This artwork was painted on plein air in Palmengarden. My favorite time of year is spring, when everything around is in bloom. I especially love flowering trees, like the birth of new life. I like to paint the delicate shades of reviving nature. This is a one-of-a-kind professional work of art. This piece of art was painted with oil from life using the alla-prima technique. This painting measures 50 cm x 60 cm (2 cm deep) it is painted onto gallery stretched canvas and with high quality oil paints, varnished for extra protection. The painting is sold unframed. Each work by Olena Kolotova is signed front and back and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity for the painting. All paintings are packed very carefully in cardboard boxes (recycled where possible) with generous layers of bubble wrap to protect them. Once you place your order it will be processed and shipped within 7 business days. Once shipped, you will receive an email with your tracking details and expected delivery date. All deliveries will require a signature on delivery. CUSTOMS International deliveries may be subject to local customs duties, these vary from country to country. Whether working outdoors or in the studio, I discover beauty in simple forms, playing with light and shadow to reveal their true essence, which I want to share with the viewer. Engaging with nature on location captures numerous shades that, when reflected in the painting, bring it to life. I prefer working with traditional materials, using oil paints and brushes. By incorporating the energy of my fingers into each stroke and mark, and utilizing the texture of the oil, I express myself artistically. I approach my work without expecting a finished painting, relishing the process where I entrust myself to chance and intuition. I love the unpredictable outcome of my creativity, which is always enchanting.
