Travel with me to the mouth of the Grand Canal in Venice, and gaze across at the impossibly romantic campanile of St Mark's. The waters gently lap below you a the godolas bob and catch the light sunset across the vista in front of you. You walk between the iconic campanile on your left as you walk into the square. Beyond the Doges' palace on your right you are confronted with the Basilica of St Mark! Like a weather beaten wedding cake it looms choc full of history, mustiness and tourists. I have been travelling to Venice to draw and paint since my first visit in 2014. I hope you will feel some of the magic in my work! I love the place. I hope you love my vision of it too!
