Pauline Ender is an American artist, painting abstracts, expressionistic figures. She has been painting for many years solo, juried and group exhibiting, selling and winning prizes and receiving commissions. She paints in series, not limiting herself as to media or style spending long disciplined hours to create a work. She learned to paint in the traditional manner with underpainting, drawing, darks, lights, and blending ect. But she's developed my own loose style, with free brushwork, drawing, and the expressive line are very important to her. She paints with acrylic, oil, or watercolor paint on canvas or paper. "I have inside me a drive to paint, inspired by all around me, then painting what I know and feel, not blending but leaving to the viewers eyes at a distance to blend and to add and interpret with their own experiences and memories.
