The long way (home) - Oil on linen 50x44x2cm (19.7x17.3x0.8in) 2015, SOLD, Private collection, Vigevano, IT Ready to hang The long way (home) is the result of several photoshop sessions held to match the picture of a lone travelling child (my nephew Andrea) with an environment that could best explain the meaning of the artwork. The message of this piece is that we travel/look for something we don't know since we are children but sometimes what we search for is just our home. Also, what we want we can find home/within ourselves better than anywhere else. This painting is an oil on linen stretched on a wood canvas. Dimensions are 44x50x2cm (17.3x19.7x0.8in). The painting was sold in 2019 and it is part of a private collection in Italy.

In my paintings I focus on figures and their interaction with the landscape and architecture. After spending some years being very faithful to the samples, I am now experimenting different styles of painting and alternating portraits (mainly commissions) with sperimental artworks. Also, I am increasingly taking advantage of image editing softwares in pre-production to find the best colours and lights for the painting. I use oil colours both on wood and linen. All the materials used in the artworks are high quality, from hand primed canvas (by myself, using a classic method that prevents from aging and deterioration) to colours. Some of my paintings are currently part of private collections in Italy and abroad. Awards: 2023 Finalist, Artfinder Creative Contest - Unity Competition, Online. 2017 Mulieribus, 4th edition.
