Beloning to the serie 'elevating colours', this painting is painted on a transparant PVC foil. 'The Loop' is about colours connecting on a different material. What happens to the colours when they are used on a transparant background, visible from both sides? How do the colours work together or individually and connecting to the green background. In this work the colours are separated widely. Painting the lines in one straight movement, they are painted freely. Together they are shaped like of a loop, optically creating a spatial 3D effect. Leaving an open interpretation for the visitor to experience what they are looking at. This painting is not framed, but slightly loose attached to the transparant glass with double-sided transparent tape. Since the painting has multiple ways to look at, the buyer can decide how to frame the painting themself. Or to create multiple hanging systems to be able to change.

In my paintings there is always a new perspective. Something new I found out, a new way, a new perspective on painting, on artists, on colours, on life. They show my way of life out of curiosity, finding new depts, new philosophies. Always looking at the artists from before, and what they had in common, to learn from their messages and develop my own. Sometimes I turn my paintings around and around even during the painting proces to make them round or to be able to paint. Mostly they are painted by hand using my finger as a tool. Their names reveal the content. Even for me as an artist their depts keep reveiling years after painting them. I hope they keep doing specifically that for a while…..not only for me, but for many people.
