About The Artwork

Deadpool : The Lord works in mysterious ways, don't I? A good day. Yukio : Bye, Wade! Deadpool : Bye, Yukio! Yukio : That was probably a bad idea. Negasonic Teenage Warhead : What have we done? Peter: [putting lotion on face] I don't know much about this Cable fella, but I guarantee you he hasn't killed as many people as melanoma has. Firefist: How do you know what I want? Deadpool: Because I've been inside you. That came out wrong. I've been inside your shoes, which is also off-putting. Cable: Dubstep's for pussies! Wade Wilson: You're so dark. Are you sure you're not from the DC universe? I love dubstep! Blind Al: Sweetheart, can you speak up? It's a little hard to hear you with that pity-dick in your mouth. Tenors, Basses: [singing] You can't stop him / Ah-ah-ah-ah / You can't stop this / Motherfucker! Sopranos, Altos: [singing] Holy... shitballs... / Holy... shitballs... / Holy... shitballs... / Holy... shitballs... / Holy... shitballs... / Holy... shitballs... Deadpool: Juggernaut! I should've worn the white pants! Wade Wilson: George Michael was right. I'm never gonna dance again. Fuck! He's dead, too. At least we still have Bowie. Weasel: Yeah, we still... [looks over at Dopinder, he nods and winks at him] Weasel: ... have Bowie. Wade Wilson: With this collar on, my superpower is just unbridled cancer. Give me a bow and arrow and I'm basically Hawkeye. Deadpool: [to Black Tom] What's your superpower? Cultural appropriation? Wade Wilson: Sorry I'm late. There was a bunch of handicapable children stuck in a tree and I had to, uh... Vanessa: Uh-uh. Wade Wilson: You're right. I was fighting a caped badass. But then we discovered his mom is named Martha, too. Vanessa: No. Wade Wilson: You got me. I was rounding up all the gluten in the world and launching it into space where it can't not hurt us ever again. Vanessa: Try again. Wade Wilson: Diarrhea? We can't be sure until I get this suit off but, uh, all signs point to yes. Traffic? Hmm? Vanessa: Kiss me like you miss me, Red. [before the X-Force skydive] Peter: Is anybody nervous about the high winds? Deadpool: Gary... Peter: My name's Peter. Deadpool: I realize that you're new to this, but relax. You've been chosen by a higher power. Domino: Did he just call himself God? Bedlam: I think he did. Peter: I'd like to go home. Deadpool: And I'd like the McRib to be available year round, but sometimes dreams don't come true! I spent ten years in Special Forces! You think we didn't jump out of the plane because of a light breeze? YOU'RE IN THIS SHIT NOW, MUSTACHE! Deadpool: [whispers to Peter] I'm only yelling to impress the other guys. I'd never let anything happen to you, Sugarbear. Negasonic Teenage Warhead : [Introducing Yukio to Wade] Wade, Yukio. Yukio, Wade. [Yukio waves to Wade] Wade Wilson : What the fuck knuckles is this? Negasonic Teenage Warhead : She's my girlfriend, you intolerant shit. Wade Wilson : Whoa! Pump the hate brakes, Fox and Friends. I'm just surprised anyone would date you, especially Pinkie Pie from My Little Pony. [Winks to Yukio] Yukio : I like this guy. from ‘Deadpool 2’ (2018) Starring Zazie Beetz (Geostorm), Alan Tudyk ("Oh my God! Look at my package!”), Julian Dennison (Hunt for the Wilderpeople), Karan Soni (Hemsworth’s Ghostbusters), Brandon Walsh (Planet Terror), Morena Baccarin (Wait a Minute!), Matt Damon (The *So-So* Wall - I liked it though. "You like every *thing*." -- "What's wrong with that?"), Terry Crews (The Expendables 2), Shiloi Kutsuna (Oh Lucy!), Leslie Uggams (Skyjacked), Vance Wilder (Buried - Awesome Performance - Watch Now), Brianna Hildebrand (The Exorcist), T.J. Miller (Cloverfield), Eddie Marsan (War Horse), and Brad Pitt (Tales from the Crypt: King of the Road). Written by Ryan Reynolds (Truce), Rhett Reese (Cruel Intentions 3 - When was 2?), and Paul Wernick (Maul’s G.I. Joe). Directed by David Leitch (One of the Guys who Killed the Dog in John Wick). Deadpool created by Rob Liefeld and Fabian Nicieza Deadpool 2 is a 2018 American superhero film based upon the Marvel Comics character Deadpool. It is the eleventh installment in the X-Men film series, and is the sequel to 2016's Deadpool. The film was directed by David Leitch from a screenplay by Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, and Ryan Reynolds, who stars in the title role alongside Josh Brolin, Morena Baccarin, Julian Dennison, Zazie Beetz, T.J. Miller, Brianna Hildebrand, and Jack Kesy. In the film, Deadpool forms the X-Force to protect a young mutant from the time-traveling soldier Cable. Plans for a sequel to Deadpool began before the original film's release, and were confirmed in February 2016. Though the original creative team of Reynolds, Reese, Wernick, and director Tim Miller were quickly set to return for the second film, Miller left the project in October 2016 due to creative differences with Reynolds and was soon replaced by Leitch. An extensive casting search took place to fill the role of Cable, with Brolin ultimately cast. Filming took place in British Columbia from June to October 2017. The film is dedicated to stuntwoman Joi "SJ" Harris, who died in a motorcycle accident during filming. Deadpool 2 was released in the United States on May 18, 2018 by 20th Century Fox. The film outgrossed its predecessor, earning over $786 million worldwide, becoming the ninth-highest-grossing film of 2018, the highest-grossing film in the X-Men series, as well as the highest-grossing R-rated film. The film received positive reviews from critics, who praised its humor, cast performances, story and action sequences but criticized its tone and script. A PG-13-rated version of the film, titled Once Upon a Deadpool, was released on December 12, 2018 to mixed reviews. Following the acquisition of 21st Century Fox by Disney, a third Deadpool film, set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, is currently under development at Marvel Studios. Deadpool is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by writer Fabian Nicieza and artist/writer Rob Liefeld, the character first appeared in The New Mutants #98 (cover-dated February 1991). Initially, Deadpool was depicted as a supervillain when he made his first appearance in The New Mutants and later in issues of X-Force, but later evolved into his more recognizable antiheroic persona. Deadpool, whose real name is Wade Winston Wilson, is a disfigured mercenary with the superhuman ability of regeneration and physical prowess. The character is known as the "Merc with a Mouth" because of his tendency to talk and joke constantly, including breaking the fourth wall for humorous effect and running gags. The character's popularity has seen him featured in numerous forms of other media. In the 2004 series Cable & Deadpool, he refers to his own scarred appearance as "Ryan Renolds crossed with a Shar-Pei" (Ryan Reynolds' name misspelled). Reynolds himself would eventually portray the character in the X-Men film series, appearing in X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009), Deadpool (2016), and its sequel Deadpool 2 (2018). Reynolds attributes Cable & Deadpool #2 to what got him hooked on the character and inspired him to bring the character to the movies. He is confirmed to continue playing the character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Source: Wikipedia

I’m (I am?) a self-taught artist, originally from the north suburbs of Chicago (also known as John Hughes' America). Born in 1984, I started painting in 2017 and began to take it somewhat seriously in 2019. I currently reside in rural Montana and live a secluded life with my three dogs - Pebbles (a.k.a. Jaws, Brandy, Fang), Bam Bam (a.k.a. Scrat, Dinki-Di, Trash Panda, Dug), and Mystique (a.k.a. Lady), and five cats - Burglekutt (a.k.a. Ghostmouse Makah), Vohnkar! (a.k.a. Storm Shadow, Grogu), Falkor (a.k.a. Moro, The Mummy's Kryptonite, Wendigo, BFC), Nibbler (a.k.a. Cobblepot), and Meegosh (a.k.a. Lenny). Part of the preface to the 'Complete Works of Emily Dickinson helps sum me up as a person and an artist: "The verses of Emily Dickinson belong emphatically to what Emerson long since called ‘the Poetry of the Portfolio,’ something produced absolutely without the thought of publication, and solely by way of expression of the writer's own mind. Such verse must inevitably forfeit whatever advantage lies in the discipline of public criticism and the enforced conformity to accepted ways. On the other hand, it may often gain something through the habit of freedom and unconventional utterance of daring thoughts. In the case of the present author, there was no choice in the matter; she must write thus, or not at all. A recluse by temperament and habit, literally spending years without settling her foot beyond the doorstep, and many more years during which her walks were strictly limited to her father's grounds, she habitually concealed her mind, like her person, from all but a few friends; and it was with great difficulty that she was persuaded to print during her lifetime, three or four poems. Yet she wrote verses in great abundance; and though brought curiosity indifferent to all conventional rules, had yet a rigorous literary standard of her own, and often altered a word many times to suit an ear which had its own tenacious fastidiousness." -Thomas Wentworth Higginson "Not bad... you say this is your first lesson?" "Yes, but my father was an *art collector*, so…"
