LIMITED PRINT: Large format originally color tone print by Andy Reiben is an interesting alternative investment and a collector’s rarity in limited edition of 10 pcs. For creating high quality prints I use the best contemporary polygraphic methods (CANON – 12 color pigment ink system with LUCIA™ inks) on Canon Art Canvas 340g/m2. Then is every print originally colored and I approach each piece completely individually and by colourful strokes of brush I create an original which is in detail different from the rest of copies. After finishing the printing phase, the prints are stretched on blind frames 1:1 to original and adjusted in black glossy frame from Lira Larson – Juhl (in frame 185 cm x 125 cm). The prints are afterwards provided with varnish or a series of varnishes to make them UV resistant (2 different lacquers and UV ClearJet®), protect them from manual damage and to preserve, brighten and smooth the colours. I guarantee that every specific artwork will be issued in the declared amount of copies and besides its artistic value it will be an interesting alternative investment and a collector’s rarity. I like to imagine the strong emotions of frustration and defiance in the real story of human history. in 1532, in the heart of the mighty Inca empire, in Peru. The advanced and still very young empire that existed only a hundred years. All this until 1526 when the shores of the fabled empire of gold called Eldorado and now known as Peru came in even crueler and more civilized conquerors - the Spaniards. The Incas sensed enemy force. Always prefer to donate ambitious conquistador Francisco Pizarro an enormous amount of gold jewelry and hoped that would be enough. Pizarro did not want to only what can bear. He wanted everything. With only a hundred soldiers went 16 November 1532 in the city of Cajamarca, where they already waiting for him with his army of 80,000 men emperor Atahualpa. Atahualpa was executed alone away from his soldiers. In this picture you can see a moment full of a wide variety of emotions experienced by Atahualpa at the moment of betrayal. At this moment realized that his decision not to fight but to negotiate will be the end of the world what he knew. From today, everything has to be different. His soul went through in the second largest battle of the mighty civilization. Moment of humiliation, mortification, deception, responsibility and the wrong decisions about the fate of 20 million Incas, unspoiled nature and immense cultural and spiritual wealth. The Moment when a strong meets a stronger. When crafty man meets a more crafty man. It is the loss of man and civilization. I painted the emperor Atahualpa as a shaman in harmonies with the nature that surrounds it, permeates and co-create him. He is the spirit of forests and mountains, animals and flowers. Powerful and seemingly fearless force that only half emerges from the branches of a dark forest. However it is in silent amazement before the army of thirsty and greedy monsters that have not a honor and respect to anything and anyone. He believes a quietly defiant.
