El encierro, la desesperación, el oportunismo y el tiempo enmarcan el contexto de esta obra titulada The Watch. El reloj de agua que metafóricamente representa el tiempo, la vida y espacio donde nos encontramos. Ante la inminente desesperación del pez (que representa al humano) en su batalla por sobrevivir, sabiendo que la hora de su lucha se termina, en ausencia del vital líquido para su supervivencia. El reloj simboliza el encierro que cada persona lleva en su interior. En la obra sarcásticamente se observa en el exterior del reloj una inmensa playa con un sinfín de agua, representando la abundancia que le es negada al ser humano, muchas veces causando penurias y muerte bien sea por mezquindad u omisión. La hormiga al acecho (representa la muerte y la peste) va camino cual carroñero en busca de su presa que lucha y sucumbe bajo la mirada de su creador.

Born in Portugal in 1971, since his teens always showed an interest fur the art of painting, his first classes were from plastic artist Lino Pestana Whom considers to be his most influential teacher. Studies architecture at the Santiago Mariño University in the city of Valencia, Venezuela from acrylics and mixed techniques. At present time he uses oil paints as he considers it is the most complete technique. His work has evoled through the years always projecting in his work the energies, Nature and the human body; most recently he has dabblecl into realism with prolix.
